The interior design of ZOONA Puentes 174, a 505 m² (5,436 sq ft) house in Los Puentes, Nordelta, works with a palette of three materials: vein-cut Turkish travertine, light timber and white. The house is entered at the end of a path, through a two-storey hall where the stair is the only object.

The kitchen is not a service room: it is the centre of the plan.
Rather than closing it off, the project places an open kitchen at the middle of the ground floor, between the work and service wing facing the street and the living, dining and gallery facing the garden. A sliding glass partition is the only thing that can divide it. Every route through the house passes through it.
Travertine carries the ground floor — floors, wall cladding and the pool edge, all in the same vein-cut Turkish stone. Timber enters as joinery and in some ceilings, and takes over the floors upstairs, where the three en-suite bedrooms are. Custom woodwork is by De Otro Tiempo. Textiles are linen and undyed weaves; the upholstery stays within the same range.
Light is filtered rather than framed. Sheer curtains run the full height of the sliding panels, and the double-height void above the hall carries daylight down to the ground floor through the day.
The front bedrooms look onto private patios cut into the white envelope. The primary suite faces the lake across its own terrace. Planting is visible from every room, and is treated as part of the material palette rather than as a view.
